9. وَأَمِتْ نَفْسَكَ حَتَّى تَحْيَا، وَإِنَّ أَقْرَبَ الْخَلْقِ إِلَى اللهِ أَوْسَعَهُمْ صَدْراً وَأَحْسَنَهُمْ خُلُقاً، وَإِنَّ أَفْضَلَ الْأَعْمَالِ مُخَالَفَةُ النَّفْسِ وَالْهَوَى وَدَوَامُ التَّوَجُّهُ إِلَى اللهِ سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى وَالْإِعْرَاضُ عَمَّنْ سِوَاهُ. 9. Keep killing your egos until you become alive, and the closest among the creation to Allah is the one with the broadest chest (most tolerant, patient, generous, brave, loving) and with the best of manners. And the most superior of the deeds is the opposing of the egos and whims and constant orientation towards Allah Almighty while and leaving everything except for Him.

10. وَحَسْبُكَ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا شَيْئَانِ: أَوَّلاً صُحْبَةُ فَقِيرٍ عَارِفٍ، ثَانِياً خِدْمَةُ وَلِيٍّ كَامِلٍ. 10. Two thing are sufficient for you in the worldly life: One being the company of the poor gnostic, and second being in the service of a complete saint.

11 . وَاعْلَمْ أَنَّ الْفَقِيرَ هُوَ الَّذِي لَا يَسْتَفْتِى بِشَئٍ مِنْ دُونِ اللهِ تَعَالَى، وَطَرِيقُهُ جَدٌّ كُلُّهُ فَلَا يُخَالِطَهُ بِشَئٍ مِنَ الْهَزْلِ. 11. You should know that the poor is the one, who doesn't appeal to anyone except to Allah Almighty, and he is completely serious in his Path, so he never mixes it with anything of joking.

12. وَجَانِبْ أَهْلَ الْبِدَعِ -وَالْعِيَاذُ بِا???ِ- فَلَا تَنْظُرْ إِلَيْهِمْ جُمْلَةً. 12. Turn aside from the people of the innovation in the religion - May Allah protect us from them - So, don't look at them, even for a moment.

13 . وَعَلَيْكَ بِتَرْكِ الْاِخْتِيَارِ وَمُلَازَمَةُ الْتَسْلِيمِ وَتَفْوِيضُ الْأَمْرِ كُلِّهِ ???ِ. 13. It is an obligation upon you, to leave the choice, and adhere to the submission, and delegate of all the matters to Allah.

وَطَيِّبُ الْصُّحْبَةِ هُمْ مَنْ إِذَا غِبْتَ عَنْهُمْ فَقَدُوكَ، وَإِذَا غَفَلْتَ نَبَّهُوْكَ، وَإِذَا دَعَوْا لِأَنْفُسِهِمْ لَمْ يَنْسَوْكَ، هُمْ كَالْنَّجُومِ إِذَا ضَلَّتْ سَفَيْنَتُكَ فِى بَحْرِ الْحَيَاةِ أَرْشَدُوكَ، وَغَداً تَحْتَ عَرْشِ الرَّحْمَنِ يَنْتَظِرُوكَ، أَلَا يَكْفِي أَنَّهُمْ فِى اللهِ أَحَبُّوكَ. And the good company are those, if you are absent from them, they will miss you, and if you are heedless, they will warn you, and if they supplicate for themselves, they never forget you. They are like the stars which guides your ship, when it is lost in the Sea of life and tomorrow, they will be awaiting you under the throne of the Merciful. Is it not enough that they love you for the sake of Allah?

مِمَّا تَعَلَّمْنَاهُ مِنْ سُوَرِ الْقُرآنِ الْكَرِيمِ سُوْرَةُ الْتَفَاؤُلُ وَالْتَثْبِيتُ الْكَثِيرِينَ مِنَّا لَا يَعْلَمُوْنَهَا، إِنَّهَا سُوْرَةُ الْطَّلَاقِ، وَهَلْ تَعْلَمُ لِمَاذَا سُمِّيَتْ كَذَلِكَ؟ From what we have learned from the chapters of the Noble Holy Quran, there is a chapter called The Optimism and The Strengthening. Most of us do not know it. It is the chapter of At-Talaq, and do you know why it is called this?

لِأَنَّهَا حُشِدَتْ بِعَدَدٍ مِنَ الْجُمَلِ الَّتِى تَفْتَحُ لِكُلِّ مَغْمُوْمٍ وَمَهْمُومٍ آفَاقَ الْأَمَلِ عَلَى الْرَّغْمِ مِنْ قِصَرِهَا. Because it has collected together a number of sentences, which opens the prospects of hope for everyone sorrowful and everyone worried, despite being brief.

إِذَا مَرَّتْ حَيَاتُنَا بِزَوَاجٍ فَاشَلٍ أَوْ مَرَضٍ أَوْ صِرَاعٍ نَفْسِي أَوْ خِسَارَةٍ مَالِيَّةٍ، فَاعْرِضْ حَالَكَ عَلَى آيَاتِ سُّورَةِ الْتَفَاؤُلِ وَالْتَثْبِيتِ If our lives have undergone a failed marriage, a sickness, a psychological trauma or a financial loss, then present you case to the verses of the chapter of The Optimism and The Strengthening

بِدْءاً بِالْآيَةِ الْأُوْلَى لَا تَدْرِى لَعَلَّ ا???َ يُحْدِثُ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ أَمْرًا1 الطلاق، اِجْعَلْهَا شَعَارَكَ، وَتَذَكَّرَهَا كُلَّمَا بُليْتَ بِمَا يَغُمُّكَ. Starting with the first verse You don't know, perhaps Allah will bring about after that a different situation. (Talaq, 65:1). Make it your motto, and remember it whenever you are put through a trial by which you are anguished or sad. ثُمَّ الْآيَاتُ الَّتِى بَعْدَهَا، وَمَنْ يَتَّقِ ا???َ يَجْعَلْ لَهُ مَخْرَجًا2 الطلاق Then the Ayat which comes after it is: And whoever is watchful towards Allah - He makes for him a way out (At-Talaq, 65:2). أَضَاقَتْ عَلَيْكَ الْدُّنْيَا حَتَّى كِدَّتْ تُجْزِمْ أَنَّكَ لَنْ تَسْعَدْ بِحَيَاتِكَ مَرَّةً أُخْرَى. Has the worldly life been tightened upon you to an extent, that you have almost become certain, that you will never will experience happiness in your life ever again?

مَنْ جَعَلَ لَكَ مَدْخَلاً إِلَى هَذَا الْبَلَاءِ يَجْعَلْ لَكَ -يَقَيْناً- مَخْرَجاً مِنْهُ، إِنْ اتَّقَيْتَهُ وَيَرْزُقْهُ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا يَحْتَسِبُ3 الطلاق، لَيْسَ الْرِزْقُ مَالاً فَقَطْ، بَلْ شِفَاءً يُذهِبُ مَرَضَكَ، طُمَأْنِيْنَةً تُذهِبُ ضِيقَ صَدْرِكَ، شَرِيكاً صَالِحاً يُنسِيْكَ شَقَاءَكَ الْأَوَّلِ. Then the One who put you in this affliction in first place, is also The One who will make for you - with absolute certainty - a way out of it. If you are watchful towards Him And He provides for him from where he does not anticipate it. (At-Talaq 65). The provision is not only money, rather it is a healing, which cures your sickness. It is a reassurance, which removes the tightness of your chest. It is an upright partner, who will make you forget your first misery.

وَمَنْ يَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى ا???ِ فَهُوَ حَسْبُهُ3 الطلاق، أَىْ مُتَوَلِّي جَمِيعِ أَمْرِكَ، وَكَافِيكَ مَا أَهَمُّكَ، فَقَطْ تَوَكَّلْ عَلَيْهِ، وَاتْرُكْ لَهُ تَدْبِيرَ خَلَاصِكَ مِنْ هَذِهِ الْكُرْبَةِ، لَكِنْ لَا تَنْسَي إِنَّ اللَّهَ بَالِغُ أَمْرِهِ قَدْ جَعَلَ اللَّهُ لِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدْرًا3 الطلاق، فَلَا تَسْتَعْجِلْ، وَلَا تَيْأَسْ، ومَهْمَا أَظْلَمَ الْلَيلِ فَضَوءُ الصُّبْحِ آتٍ لَا مَحالَ. And whoever relies upon Allah - then He is sufficient for him. (At-Talaq 65). Meaning that he is the caretaker of all of your affairs. And He is sufficient for you regarding that, which is burdening you. So, just rely upon Him only, and leave it for Him to measure your salvation from this anguish. But don't forget Allah will always accomplish His purpose. Allah has already set for everything an equal measure (At-Talaq 65:3). So, don't be hasty, and don't despair, because no matter how dark the night may be, the light of the morning is definitely coming.

وَمَنْ يَتَّقِ اللَّهَ يَجْعَلْ لَهُ مِنْ أَمْرِهِ يُسْرًا4 الطلاق، يُيَسِّرْ لَك َماَ يُصَبِّرْ نَفْسَكَ، يُيَسِّرْ لَكَ مَا يُثَبِّتْ عَقْلَكَ، يُيَسِّرْ لَكَ مَا يَشْرَحْ صَدْرَكَ، يُيَسِّرْ لَكَ مَا يُنْهِى كَرْبَكَ.

And whoever fears Allah - He will make for him of His matter ease. (At-Talaq 65:4). He will make it easy for you to be patient, He will facilitate you to strengthen your mind, He will facilitate you to expand your chest, He will facilitate you in ending your distress.

وَمَنْ يَتَّقِ اللَّهَ يُكَفِّرْ عَنْهُ سَيِّئَاتِهِ وَيُعْظِمْ لَهُ أَجْرًا5 الطلاق، وَمَا هَذَا الْبَلَاءُ -إِنْ اِحْتَسَبْتَهُ- إِلَّا تَكْفِيرٌ لِسَيِّئَاتِكَ وَرِفْعَةٌ فِى دَرَجَاتِكَ، وَحَسْبُكَ بِهَذا مَغْنَماً وَسَطُ كُلِّ ذَلِكَ الْضِيقِ وَالْهَمِّ وَالْأَلَمِ. اِتَّقِ اللهَ، اِتَّقِ اللهَ، اِتَّقِ اللهَ.

And whoever fears Allah - He will remove for him his misdeeds and make increase his reward for him (At-Talaq 65:5), if you had considered it thoroughly then this affliction is not except to remove for your evil deeds from you and raise our ranks, and this is enough for you as a gain in the midst of all that strain, distress and pain. So, beware of Allah! Beware of Allah, Beware of Allah.

ثُمَّ تَأْتِى خَاتَمِةُ آيَاتِ الْتَّفَاؤُلِ قَاطِعَةً حَاسِمَةً سَيَجْعَلُ اللَّهُ بَعْدَ عُسْرٍ يُسْرًا7 الطلاق، فَهَلْ يَبْقَى فِى نَفْسِكَ -أَيْهَا الْمَكْرُوبُ- شَئً مِنَ الْشَّكِّ وَالْتَّشَاؤُمِ بَعْدَ كُلِّ هَذَا؟!

Then comes the conclusion of the Ayat of the joyous omen (The Optimism) decisively and conclusively when it is said Allah will make after an adversity an ease (At-Talaq 65:7). O You who are distressed - Do you still have in yourself anything of suspicion and pessimism left after all of this?!

نِلْنَا مُنَانَا وَمَا فَوْقَ الْمُنَى دُرَراً We have obtained our desired objective… and that which is above the desired objective, as an abundance of pearls (Qasida 28:13)

يَقُولُ الْمَوْلَى الْكَرِيمُ وَسَارِعُوا إِلَى مَغْفِرَةٍ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ وَجَنَّةٍ عَرْضُهَا السَّمَوَاتُ وَالْأَرْضُ أُعِدَّتْ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ 133 آل عمران، فَالْمُبَادَرَةُ إِلَى مَغْفِرَةٍ مِنَ الْرَّبِّ وَالْتَّوْبَةِ وَالْإِخْلَاصِ وَسَائِرِ الْطَّاعَاتِ، أَمَرَنَا الْحَقُّ فِيهَا بِالْمُسَارَعَةِ، عَلَى غَيرِ الْحَالِ فِى هَذِهِ الْدُّنْيَا، فَنَجِدُ أَنَّ الْسُّرْعَةَ فِى مَنَاحىٍ شَتَّى أَمْرٌ غَيْرُ مَطْلُوبٍ وَيُحَذَّرُ مِنْهُ، كَالْسَّيْرِ فِى الْطَرِيقِ تَجِدُ مَنْ يُحَذِّرُكَ بِعَدْمِ الْسَّيْرِ بِسُّرْعَةٍ حِرْصاً عَلَى سَلَامَتِكَ وَسَلَامَةِ الْآخَرِينَ، أَمَّا إِذَا تَعَلَّقَ الْأَمْرُ بِطَاعَةٍ مِنَ الْطَّاعَاتِ، أَوْ قُرْبَةٍ مِنَ الْقُرُبَاتِ، أَوِ الْرُّجُوعِ إِلَى اللهِ بِتَوْبَةٍ خَالِصَةٍ، فَنَجِدُ الْحَقُّ طَلَبَ مِنَّا الْمُسَارَعَةَ، فَطَرِيقُ الْهِدَايَةِ لَا يَنْتَظِرُ الْمُتَرَاخِي، وَالْإِسْرَاعُ إِلَيْهِ هُوَ الْسَّبِيلُ، وَعَلَى قَدْرِ الْإِسْرَاعِ يَكُونُ الْاِجْتِهَادُ، وَمُنْتَهَى هَذَا الْاِجْتِهَادَ هُوَ الْجَنَّةَ بِإِذْنِ اللهِ وَآخِرُ هَذَا الْسَبِيلُ هُوَ نَوَالُ الْمُنَى بِلَذِيذِ الْخِطَابِ يَا عِبَادِي لَا تَخَافُوْا إِنَّ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا رَبُّنَا اللَّهُ ثُمَّ اسْتَقَامُوا تَتَنَزَّلُ عَلَيْهِمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ أَلَّا تَخَافُوا وَلَا تَحْزَنُوا وَأَبْشِرُوا بِالْجَنَّةِ الَّتِي كُنْتُمْ تُوعَدُونَ30 فصلت.
